A trading journal that understands Robinhood

Robinhood gives you clean order data but no journal. FillJournal turns that history — stocks and options — into round-trip trades with the metrics computed honestly: no phantom shorts from transfers, no expired options quietly inflating your win rate.

How to import

Get your order history out of Robinhood

Robinhood offers account activity reports from the app and website. Export the widest range available. FillJournal has a dedicated importer for Robinhood order JSON, and the generic CSV importer with column mapping handles activity-report CSVs.

Import and preview

Import → Robinhood. Only filled orders become executions — cancelled, rejected, and replaced orders are skipped. The preview shows what will be added before anything is saved.

Reconcile

Compare the per-account totals against Robinhood's own realized P&L. Differences usually come down to fees and transfers, both explained below.

What usually goes wrong with Robinhood data — and how it's handled

Expired options need settling

Options you let expire have no closing order. FillJournal closes them at intrinsic value from the underlying's expiry-day close, so a worthless expiry books its real loss and an in-the-money expiry books its real value.

ACAT transfers are not trades

Shares transferred out of Robinhood show as sells with no buy. FillJournal marks them unmatched instead of pairing them into fictional round trips.

Order history contains a lot of noise

Replaced and cancelled orders outnumber fills in an active account. The importer keeps executions only, so your trade count reflects trades, not intentions.

Questions

Does FillJournal work with multiple Robinhood accounts?

Yes — individual, IRA, and any other account are imported separately and can be viewed together or filtered apart.

Are options supported?

Fully: multi-leg fills import as their individual legs, contracts use the 100× multiplier, and round trips are built across scale-ins and partial closes.

Do I need to link my Robinhood login?

No. FillJournal is importer-first: you upload files, and your brokerage credentials never touch our servers.
